The Grundfos Hydro Mul E CME range of variable speed booster sets consists of 2 iden cal CME pumps connected in parallel and mounted on a common base frame provided with a control cabinet and all the necessary -fi ngs. All parts in contact
with water are made from stainless steel including the suc on manifold and discharge manifold. Op on of cast iron parts is
available. Each pump is fitted with an isolation ng valve and a non-return valve on the discharge manifold. The pumps of the
booster system can be removed without interfering with the pipework on either side of the manifolds. The pumps are electrically speed-controlled via an integrated speed drive connected to a high-efficiency IE5 Grundfos Blueflux motor. The main
benefits are comfort for the user through constant pressure as well as high energy savings.

SYSTEM OPERATION
Sensors in the delivery pipe monitor system pressure and adjust speed to provide the demanded flow at the constant pre-set
pressure. Pumps operate in parallel with the second pump cu ng in as demand rises thus ensuring maximum efficiency operation, extended pump life, and silent running. The pump pump-mounted system controller features digital displays as well as fault indicator lights and provides for pump sequence control ensuring that system demand is met in the most efficient way as well as an auto pump changeover to equalize operating hours. Dry run protection by adding of float switch with selectable auto restart.
Protec on functions including the max number of starts per hour, minimum cycle times, overpressure, and motor over current.
Systems with 3 or 4 pumps are available on demand.

APPLICATIONS: Pressurized systems in blocks of flats, small hotels,
office blocks and schools.
